The "Feminine Palette" by Urban Decay:
Pros:
- great arrangements of colors and decent size to put in your purse or car about 3"x4" size with a place in the middle for the black eye liner that comes with it.
-eye liners are pigmented and goes well together. I especially like the brown shadows: "stray dog" and "dark horse" wonderful fall colors for a smokey eye. Also you can use "midnight cowboy" as a base.
Cons:
- I've noticed the ingredients methylparaben and propylparaben not far down the line on the list which is use as a preservative for makeup but are known to cause cancer...
- shadows are also a bit shimmery, only tried it on my arm but I hope the sparkles doesn't stray all over my face when I decided to wear this "midnight cowboy" has the most sparkles of the pack.
- the purple shadow "ecstacy" is not as dark as I'd like it to be it's more of a pastel shimmer shadow but maybe you can make it darker by layering it a bit more
Overall:
I give this palette a 4.5* because I really really like the brown shadows on this one, can't wait to dry a smokey eye with this!! also the pencil is really soft and easy to apply, not sure if it's going to smudge though... maybe if applied with the UD primer that comes with it which btw is quite cute and small, then it wont smudge as much!

Love Urban decay shadow primer, i've been using it ever since they came out with the original genie bottle shape. I'm asian and I have combination skin but it gets very oily around my eyelids and T zone. This primer does wonders in keeping my shadows in place for a whole day while i'm at school.
-I've only used the original type thus far, but I just tried this on in the Sephora store and loved the pigment it's a creamish pink shimmery pigment that I think would look great as a base for most shadows.
- the primer is "SIN" Urban Decay
Like I said I've only been using Urban Decay's primer for these past years, but I got this as a sample from Too Faced and I've heard good things about it as well, but i'll try and see.
It says on the package that it's "softly illuminating anti-crease" primer. The primer comes out clear and shimmery and much more watery than Urban Decay's lid primer.
Clinique's "Really Black" # 7 liner, very soft tip and easy to draw, also seem to stay on pretty well better than the UD black liner that came with the palette.
The other is tokidoki's "Diamante" which is a glittery silver liner with a soft tip and glides on quite well. Really can't wait to try this with some black shadow.
Got a bunch of other samples but too lazy to take pics of all of them :p. This Brown Sugar fragrance smells like oranges and lemon by the way, very citric, not really my favorite.
I also bought Sephora's cream liner, read some good reviews of it, but we'll see...
