With The Hunger Games premiere last night, Adella.com couldn’t help but use Jennifer Lawrence as our next beauty icon. Not only does this girl look stunning on film and on the red carpet, but she has beautiful personality to match. She is awkward, quirky, and oh-so funny. Check out this clip from her appearance on David Letterman a couple nights ago that literally had me laughing out loud.
While on David Letterman and on the red carpet, Lawrence is seen made up with smokey eye liner and lipstick, she herself prefers to be comfortable. In an interview with Glamour magazine, Jennifer Lawrence lists this smooth red dress as “the outfit that saved her life.” After wearing corsets, trains, and generally being uncomfortable throughout awards season, Lawrence said that this was the one dress that she felt like herself in. She compares it to being as comfortable as a long tank top. She has also been seen wearing no makeup at all during her downtime.
So in honor of Jennifer Lawrence’s preference toward being comfortable, here is Adella’s four step guide to a low maintenance, all natural look:
Step One: Tinted moisturizer Start with a tinted moisturizer to even out your skin tone and cover any zits. We prefer Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer because it has SPF 30 to protect your skin.
Step Two: Blush Then apply a small amount of blush on the apples of your cheeks and down your cheek bones. Philosophy Cream Blush is ultra creaming because it is made with shea-butter.
Step Three: Mascara Apply one to two coats of mascara to your top and bottom lashes. If you’re looking for a new mascara, try Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes. It has an innovative heart-shaped brush to reach every lash.
Step Four: Lipgloss Finish your look with a swipe of your favorite lip gloss. My favorite is Sephora lip gloss in Pink Ballerina.
